Unfortunately, the Mirage was real, and a manufacturer’s nightmare. It was so unpopular that only a few hundred were ever built. Essentially, it was a coupe-truck hybrid, where the back seats were removed and replaced with a flat bed. Not a problem there actually. But it was overpriced, and was low in functionality. Customers did not like this vehicle. Cadillac realized the market for this vehicle was small, and did their best to remove it from the minds of consumers then. It almost ruined their reputation.
