Okay, just hold on. The Chevy Silverado is considered one of the best pickup trucks ever produced, proud owners will testify to that. But unfortunately, the 1999 version almost destroyed Chevy’s reputation. It is still a puzzle why Chevy equipped this version with the worst engines on the market. The 1999 Silverado was sluggish, underpowered, and not meant for their target demographic use. Many buyers realized their mistake soon enough.
