The alluring Sydnee Michaels was born in Upland, California and is the youngest among eight children. She trained in figure skating when she was very young, but when she turned eight, her father discouraged her from continuing, saying she would grow too tall for the winter activity. Sydnee switched from the ice to the green and played college golf at the University of California. She chose UCLA because of the campus’ location as well as its golf team and coach.
