Therese Koelbaek O’Hara

The lovely Therese O’Hara, formerly Therese Koelbaek before marrying Patrick O’Hara in 2015, is a Danish professional golfer who moved from Denmark to the United States to play collegiate golf at University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She started playing golf when she was 11 and credited her brother and her club and national team coaches as the ones who influenced her the most to commit to a career in golf. As an amateur, she won four victories at UNLV and five victories at the Cactus Tour. She was also a member of the Danish National Team. She qualified for the LPGA Tour on her third attempt, played two seasons on the LPGA and three on the Symetra Tour, then retired in 2017. After years apart whenever she’s traveling to compete, the couple decided to settle down in Arizona, and Therese now works as a brand ambassador and sales consultant for Aston Martin.
