Coming from a family that is heavy into sport, Emmy Martin was initially into competitive gymnastics before she literally outgrew the sport when she was 12 years old. Nicknamed “Hollywood” by her coach during her playing days at Texas Christian University, we will have to agree that the nickname suits Emmy Martin just fine. In her junior season as a Horned Frog, Emmy set the school’s season record with a 72.9 stroke average which earned her an All-Big 12 recognition. She achieved her best ranking of 282 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings, capping off her amateur career with a dramatic come-from-behind victory over Elizbeth Moon when she won the last three holes to claim the 2019 Florida Women’s Amateur Championship. Martin then turned professional in the same year and is currently in her rookie year at the Symetra Tour. It’s obvious the 25-year-old Odessa, Florida native takes care of her body extremely well, as you really don’t see a lot of golfers, if any, male or female, sporting a six-pack.
