The shapely Sharmila Nicollet was born in Bangalore, India in 1991 to Marc Nicollet, a French software professional, and Surekha Nagaraj Nicollet, an Indian perfumer with her own fragrance company. Sharmila pursued golf when she was 11 and won her first tournament when was only 15. Aside from being a golfer, the fit and fabulous Indo French athlete was also a sub-junior swimming champ who won over 72 gold and silver medals in state and national aquatic meets. Nicollet turned pro in 2009 when she was only 18, making her the youngest Indian golfer to qualify for the Ladies European Tour. Not only is she incredibly impressive on the fairway, winning the Order of Merit on the Women’s Golf Association of India in successive years, Nicollet is also strikingly tall and slender at 6 foot 1.
