The statuesque Jill McGill was born and raised in Denver, Colorado where she started playing golf when she was ten years old. She recognizes her parents and her teaching pro, Randy Peterson, as the individuals who influenced her most in her career in golf. She played collegiate golf at the University of Southern California, won the U.S. Women’s Amateur championship in 1993, won the U.S. Women’s Amateur Public Links title in 1994, and on the same year, she represented the United States at the Curtis Cup. When she’s not on an LPGA Tour, the new mom who has over a million dollars in career earnings is happily taking care of her toddler and spreading golf knowledge.
