A car that looked sporty, but you would have to be a good sport if you owned one. While it had a peculiar design, the main trouble was that it was just horribly made. Short circuits were common, the carburetors had to be constantly checked to stay in balance. Oil and water pumps refused to pump, and timing chains snapped. The sunroof leaked, and the concealable headlights would often refuse to open. One owner reported that the rear axle just fell out. Well, it was one of the last Triumphs sold in the US before the company went under in 1984.
