Let’s take a longer walk down memory lane…the year was 1956. The Renault Dauphine may have been the most ineffective piece of French engineering. It was a rickety, paper-thin vehicle, that had no reason to be on the roads. It was so slow, even a farm tractor would have given it a run in a race.How it sold around 2 million cars around the globe goes to show you that there are desperate people, desperate for any car.
