This car was dubbed as the worst car design of all time. Its odd styling was often criticized. But that was not all, its air-conditioner was horrible, customers described it “like being an ant under a mean kid’s magnifying glass” during summer. The mid-seventies definitely had several horrendous styles, but this car was unbeatable in that respect. It made a good conversation piece, especially for the geeks who owned one. It’s starring role in the 1992 comedy flick Wayne’s World didn’t help either. Many were reminded of the horrible looking car, and for those who saw it for the first time, wondered if it was real. Surely nothing as horrifying could be real, maybe it was just a movie prop set-up. But unfortunately, it was very real.
