Never think that you can do all of the activities, visit all the sites and enjoy the sumptuous dishes in Spain in just a few days. Spain is a huge country. Spain has an area of 505,990 sq. km (195,360 sq. mi). It has 770 cities with between 10,000 to a 100,000 people, 88 cities with between 100,000 and 1 million people and 2 cities with more than a million people. Unless you are spending several months in Spain, it would not be possible to visit all the notable sites and enjoy your trip. 
It would be best to just pick no more than four locations, and focus your Spanish adventure on these locations. Here are the top 10 cities to visit: Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Seville, Malaga, Bilbao, Cordoba, Granada, Jerez, and San Sebastian. Get to visit the home of House Martell (Game of Thrones fan anyone?) when you are in Spain, you just have to visit the Royal Alcazar in Seville. Want to visit Mereen (a slave town that Daenerys Targaryen liberated)? Just hop in a car and go visit Osuna, it is just about an hour away from Seville. If you are not interested in Game of Thrones related locations, there are a lot of other places to visit. It’s just up to you to plan your itinerary based on your budget, length of stay, as well as your preferences.
