If you are a US citizen, getting travel insurance for your trip to Spain is not required, but it is recommended. If you are a frequent traveler, you may already be familiar with travel insurance. In fact, some people who travel often get an annual travel insurance policy. If so, make sure your Spain is part of the coverage.
