Eurowings subsidized budget airline, Germanwings, appears on our list of worst airlines in the world after being given a sorry 3.7/10 score on Skytrax. The airliner’s low on-time rate of 73.86% is much to blame for the score, a reason why many of its customers are disgruntled.

Most airlines have efficient flight compensation policies that pa customers who have been hassled by delays or cancellations. Germanwings’ is so inefficient that it takes an average of 5 months for them to settle a claim.
