Iberia’s 92-year history of commercial aviation has allowed it to grow into a successful company, bestowed with the honor of being Spain’s flag carrier. However, certain areas of Iberia’s operations are in dire need of improvement, such as its inefficient flight compensations claims processing.

Their history of losing baggage and poor customer service, could have also been addressed by the improvement on their claims processing procedures. Disgruntled customers could have been pacified by paying them for the inconvenience that the company put them through. Because of its failure to do so, Iberia gains a spot on our world’s worst airlines list.
