Colombian company, Avianca Air, headquartered in the city of Bogota, is one of the longest-operating airliners in the world, shuttling thousands of travelers between its various hubs located inside and outside continental South America.

Avianca Air’s misfortune of being involved in a slew of tragic accidents in the past, lands it on our list of the world’s worst airlines. While its safety record has somewhat improved (thankfully) over the years, many of Avianca Air’s passengers are still quite unhappy with the quality of the company’s customer service, especially in the way they handle complaints about the constant flight and luggage delays hounding their operations.
