Russian flag carrier and one of the oldest and largest airline companies still in operation, Aeroflot, makes it to this list of world’s worst airlines too. Delayed flights, lost luggage, and lukewarm customer service are just a few of the many issues behind the company’s unpopularity with travelers.

Surprisingly, the airline was also chosen by TripAdvisor as the best airline in Europe, primarily because of the very low fares they offer.

So how did Aeroflot make it to both lists? Firstly, customers love to complain and will complain when given a reason to do so, hence the bad reviews. Secondly, not all customers have had bad experiences with the airline, and those customers may have given Aeroflot excellent reviews.
