Musa Jelle was a 10-year old survivor of a hyena attack in the northeastern Kenyan town of Wajir. Though Musa survived, two other kids were killed while 6 others were injured when a pack of hyenas attacked them in their home while they were sleeping. Musa sustained injuries to his face and had to be flown to Nairobi for treatment, which was covered by the Kenyan Wildlife Services, aside from giving financial support of around USD 230.
