Timothy Treadwell and Amie Huguenard

Timothy Treadwell and his girlfriend, Amie Huguenard, were killed and reportedly partially eaten by a grizzly bear in Katmai National Park, Alaska in October 5, 2003. The mangled and torn remains of Treadwell, an American bear enthusiast, environmentalist, and documentary filmmaker who had been living with the bears in the park for 13 summers, and his girlfriend were found by Willy Fulton, a Kodiak air taxi pilot who was supposed to pick them up. A necropsy done on a 28-year old bear tagged as Bear 141 revealed some clothing and human remains in its stomach. Timothy later became the subject of the 2005 documentary, Grizzly Man.
