19-year old Tennessee native Adrieanna O’Shea was attacked by a pack of dogs on August 23, 2019 in South Knox. Her cries for help were heard by a witness who saw her get tossed into the air and dragged toward a wooded area by five attackers, which turned out to be a neighbor’s dogs, and described as two mastiff-Labrador mixes, a Rottweiler-Labrador mix, a Pitbull, and a mastiff. One was shot while the rest was captured and brought to an animal shelter. As for O’Shea, she was found unconscious and covered with bite wounds and although she was brought to the hospital, did not survive.
