Mike Myers

Cloudfront

You’d think the man who played the easy-going party-loving rock fan from Wayne’s World and the happy-go-lucky international man of mystery from Austin Powers must surely be a hoot off-camera, too, right? Wrong. It seems Mike Myers more closely resembles Shrek at his grumpiest. Many crew members on his film projects have reported Myers a nightmare to work with, claiming the comedian to be overly controlling, uncooperative, nasty, and moody on set, and many studios and potential collaborators have blacklisted him as a result.
The former comedy juggernaut is also known to make a ton of outrageous demands of his assistants. A co-worker from The Cat in the Hat said Myers acted like a complete jerk on set. He had his staff cover his entire trailer with tenting because he didn’t want anyone to see him. He also had a guy keep his chocolates in a little container and have him running over between scenes to give him a chocolate bar—just like an overindulged spoiled brat.
