Despite all her deadpan roles, Zooey Deschanel has one of the most beautiful and expressive pair of eyes in Hollywood. A Reddit user who was a massive Deschanel fan wrote how she couldn’t believe her luck when the actress walked in the food-service establishment where she worked. The fan was so excited, having the star of New Girl only a few meters away from her. With her heart racing, she approached the celebrity and started gushing how her life has forever been changed, but Deschanel didn’t even look at her and simply ignored her. When the fan asked for a picture, Deschanel bluntly answered, “I just don’t take pictures,” and left.
It’s come to light that Deschanel suffers from attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) which may explain, or even excuse, why she can’t maintain eye contact with people. However, she can’t just consistently brush off her excited fans. Talking with the people who support her work every once in a while won’t kill her.
