Haggling is widely accepted in Iran, particularly in tourist places. Also note that you get better prices if you purchase more. But, you can also haggle with cab drivers, most likely they will initially overcharge you anyway. There are some shops that don’t even have price tags on their products. Your bargaining skills will be tested. Remember to always be polite when haggling, don’t be aggressive. If you still can’t reach an agreement, smile and move on.
