The Fires Are Creating A Weather Of Their Own

The fires have become so intense that they have begun generating their own weather, thru pyrocumulonimbus thunderstorms than spells more trouble. NASA describes this as the “fire-breathing dragon of clouds,” spreading fires through lightning, throwing of embers, and severe wind outflows. These clouds are formed when the intense heat and smoke rises, cooling off the cloud plume, and producing the puffy cloud. Although it has potential rain, it also generates lightning, which can start new fires. If it becomes powerful enough, these pyrocumulonimbus storms can produce something else entirely: a fire tornado.
