Why Dogs Like Some Dogs And Hate Others

There are people we like, and there are people that we don’t like. In the same fashion, your dog may like other dogs but act more aggressively towards others. The reason for people is quite straightforward, but for dogs, not quite so, and we may never totally understand it. However, it is thought that there are factors that affect how dogs treat other dogs, and these include the scent, which can tell a lot of things about the other dog, the body language, and past experiences that the dog may associate with the scent or appearance of the other dog. Gender can also be considered, as some dogs prefer socializing with a certain sex, their protective instinct, and the owner’s attitude by means of body language or emotion, which the dogs can read.
