The second richest woman ever is the daughter of Walmart founder Sam Walton. She has inherited the majority of the Walmart fortune which has over 11,000 stores all over the world. The Walton family is one of the richest families in the US. Alice is an avid art collector, and founded Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Arkansas. In1988, she founded Llama Company, an investment bank where she was president, CEO, and chairwoman. She was the first person to chair the Northwest Arkansas Council, and played a major role in the development of the Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport, which opened in 1998. Unfortunately, she has been in multiple automobile accidents, one of them fatal. In 1989, she killed 50 year old Oleta Hardin who stepped onto a road in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Surprisingly, no charges were filed.
