The wealthiest divorce settlement from the wealthiest man on the planet guaranteed MacKenzie Bezos at least $36 billion. She would retain control of 25% of the couples shares in Amazon, leaving ex-husband Jeff Bezos with the remaining 75% of their shared stock in the e-commerce giant. She will also relinquish her financial interests in the Washington Post and rocket developer Blue Origin. They will however remain friends as well as co-parents. Great deal for both of them. However, she plans to give away half of her fortune to several charities. One of them is Giving Pledge, started by billionaires Warren Buffett and Bill Gates. MacKenzie is really super generous, unlike her ex-husband who does not bother with charities. Oh well, different strokes for different folks.
