Heiress to the Stryker Corporation medical equipment manufacturing fortune, where she has been a director for over 30 years. She is a 65 year old American billionaire who is the only sibling to serve on the board, after inheriting a stake from her parents. While her siblings Jon and Patricia also inherited equal shares, they sold most of their shares making Ronda the biggest shareholder of the company with about 6.5% individual stake. In 2011, she and her husband gave $100 million to create a new Homer Stryker medical school at Western Michigan University. It is named after her grandfather who founded the company. He died in 1980 at the age of 85. Ronda’s parents died in a plane crash in 1976. Ronda married William D. Johnston in 1983.
