Don’t Go Out Without A Copy Of Your Passport

It is best to keep your original passport in the hotel safe if they have one. But have a photocopy (best if colored) with you at all times. Most train stations will require this of you if you want to travel to another city or town. No proper identification documents, no travel allowed. Also, authorities may ask you for identification should they want to. It is nothing to worry about, it is routine. So always have the proper documents with you. Just make sure you don’t lose your passport. It will really be a problem, being that China is a communist state.
