Instead of having to figure out how to get to your destination, heavily relying on a map or a GPS tracker and possibly getting lost in unfamiliar routes, you can sit back and enjoy the fantastic views. The bus and train systems work well, and it’s also an opportunity for you to meet people and make friends with the locals taking the public transport with you. The bus, tram, and train tickets are also inexpensive, so instead of spending money on a rental, you can have more funds for food, wine, and souvenirs.

However, if you insist on driving your own vehicle, bear in mind that you need to drive with extreme caution because road safety can be an issue in the country.
