Assume that Establishments are Open In August

They say that August is considered the “ghost month.” It seems as if this belief doesn’t only apply in China. Smaller establishments are close for a week during August. So, if you go during this time, don’t be surprised to find that small and humble restaurant you’ve been raring to visit is closed. But don’t fret as well. Major establishments and tourist destinations are always open, no matter what month it is. Nevertheless, if you plan to stay long in France and really do what the French do, particularly in Paris, then don’t expect to find every place open for you. It’s best to choose book flights for other months.
