Georgia’s warm weather and affordable living costs make it a perfect retirement destination for seniors who are looking to relocate. Its healthcare costs are also manageable, so are its friendly tax laws. However, while it isn’t necessarily the worst place to spend the rest of your golden years in, it does have its drawbacks.

While the healthcare in the state is affordable, Bankrate ranks the wellness of seniors in Georgia 44th among all the states. This suggests that medical services there might be inadequate despite being cheap.
