If you now know that pythons are also deadly even without venom, a bigger snake will surely be more dangerous. Anacondas are found in tropical South America, and four species are recognized. The most common is the green anaconda, and it is the heaviest snake in the world. They can weigh up to 600 pounds, though some have been reported in the wild over 800 pounds (estimated). They average around 20 feet long, but can reach 29 feet long, though experts say that they may even exceed 40 feet. It makes its home in swamps, marshes, and streams. It is easier for them to swim rather than slither on land because of their massiveness. But, they are also considered deadly, surely more than the python. Anacondas are also partly cannibalistic in nature, and smaller ones fall prey to the behemoths. While human deaths that are known are rare, there surely are some unreported deaths in the wild, from native tribes that share their habitat. While there are certainly a lot more deadly snakes around, and maybe some not yet discovered, this giant snake still makes it to this list and should not be taken lightly.
