In the olden times, it was quite taboo for men to have long hair, but apparently cowboys thought differently. It didn’t matter that they didn’t have good soap or shampoo to keep clean with, they loved their hair long and lush. As a matter of fact, short hair wasn’t the widely used hairstyle. Just take a look at this photo of none other than the infamous cowboy, Buffalo Bill. Just like most Native American men, who were said to be their greatest nemesis at the time, they too wore their hair long and flowy, allowing it to blow in the wind.
