Again, bars were the best thing in a cowboy’s life. They could ride hard on their horses, do their dirty business, and end up in a saloon drinking alcohol that would make anyone drunk in a single sip, just the way they liked it. And since basically everyone was drunk, they would play a game called “bullet dance” where cowboys would fire at each other’s feet while the one being shot at tries to avoid getting his toes shot off. Of course this often resulted in bar fights as well, when people lost more than just their toes, many times it was unfortunately their lives that were lost.
