These days, if you serve alcohol to a minor under 21, you’ll go to jail. Back in the Wild West, they didn’t bother to ask people for their IDs before handing them their strongest shot. And since the lawless west had no rules, they also had their share of minors that were criminals. Probably the most notorious of all was “Billy the Kid.” Not only was he nowhere near 21 yet, he managed to kill eight men by the time he was 18. His real name was Henry McCarty, and he was one of the most ruthless of gunslingers in the land.
