In June, Microsoft announced that they will be permanently closing all their retail stores, while converting their flagship stores located in Washington, London, New York, Sydney and Redmond into “Microsoft Experience Centers.” In the last decade, Microsoft expanded its retail presence in an effort to compete with Apple and create that similar shopping experience.
