In 2019, women clothing retailer Chico’s announced a permanent closure of 250 locations, which includes 100 Chico’s stores, 90 White House Black market stores and 60 Soma stores in a span of three years. As of November 2 last year, the company already closed 49 stores, leaving 200 more closures to be done within the next two years.
