230 branches of Gap

Gap, one of the largest speciality retailers in the country that holds headquarters in San Francisco has six primary divisions: Gap, Old Navy, Banana Republic, Intermix, Hill City, and Athleta. As of last year, the company announced it’s closure of 230 branches which will replaced by opening their other brands like Athleta and Old Navy. Back in 2019, the company had already announced their plan of closing hundreds of Gap stores in the next two years starting off on 130 locations in fiscal 2019, which extended into January 2020. Expect the remaining 100 stores to close within the year.
