Another luxury department chain, Nordstrom also announced its permanent closure of 16 full-line department stores in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, New Jersey, Maryland, Oregon, Virginia, Texas, and Puerto Rico last May. The company also said that it would include three location closures of Jeffrey boutiques. These 16 stores represent 14% of Nordstrom’s full-line fleet. Nordstrom has 378 locations in total: 116 full-line stores, 247 discount Nordstrom Rack stores, three Jeffrey boutiques, two clearance stores, five Trunk Club clubhouses, and five Nordstrom Local service hubs.
