56 stores of Sur La Table

This high-end kitchenware retail company, Sur La Table filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection last July and announced the closure of 56 stores. As of July, five locations were listed as permanently closed, with the remaining set to close by the end of September. The company has plans of selling the remaining 70 store branches to a private firm called Fortress Investment.
