Retailer of gifts and home founded in 1974, Tuesday Morning filed for bankruptcy in May 27 after they were forced close all their 700 stores because of the pandemic, with no e-commerce business to make up for their loss of revenue. It has plans of permanently closing 230 stores while keeping about 450 locations. With all its stores shuttered in the pandemic, the company has been able to reopen more than 80% of their branches, allowing 7,300 to go back to work. There has been no announcement as to how many workers than bankruptcy has affected.
