50 stores of Bath & Body Works

Parent company L Brands announced in May that it will close 50 Bath & Body Works stores in the US this year. Because most locations shut temporarily on March 17 because of the coronavirus pandemic, net sales seen in the first quarter dropped 37% from last year. While these 50 branches are closing, the largest bath shop chain will also open 26 new locations in 2020, which means there will still be over 1,700 Bath & Body Works locations across the US and Canada.
