“Pretty Woman” Julia Roberts is one of the more popular celebrities hailing from the state of Georgia. Other well-known celebrities would include Ray Charles, Kelly Rowland, Dakota and Elle Fanning, Luke Bryan, and Kanye West. Roberts is a celebrity who never seems to fade away. She has been popular since the 1990s and continues to amaze her fans to this day. It all started in Georgia, where her parents co-founded the Atlanta Actors and Writers Workshop, and ran a children’s acting school in Decatur, Georgia. Roberts was born in Smyrna, Georgia, and graduated from Smyrna Campbell High School. She then attended Georgia State University, but did not graduate there. She moved to NYC to pursue a career in acting.
