Tennessee has been well known for producing country singers, but pop star and actor Justin Timberlake also hails from this state. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee in 1981. He grew up in Shelby Forest between Memphis and Millington. When he started performing at the age of 11, he sang country and gospel music because of the influence of his grandfather and the music around him. He and his wife Jessica Biel own several homes all over the US, but call their Tennessee home their “home base.” They bought a $4 million 127 acre home in Leiper’s Fork, Tennessee. Other well known personalities from this state include Morgan Freeman, Dolly Parton, Megan Fox, Quentin Tarantino, and Miley Cyrus, to name a few.
