Actor Josh Duhamel was born in Minot, North Dakota, and is a loyal native of the state. He excelled in sports and played quarterback for the Minot State University football team. He went on to attend dental school, but dropped out just one and a half credits shy of his degree to pursue modelling in California. He still showed his love for his home state by becoming the face for North Dakota Tourism’s advertising campaign. “I’ve always been very vocal about the pride that I have in this state,” he said. “It’s real, it’s authentic.
