Her mom worked as a news reporter, and her dad works as an American Airlines pilot. Celebrities often decide where they call home, for Mandy, home origins are still in New Hampshire. In 1999, Mandy came to fame with the release of her debut single “Candy”, which peaked at number 41 on the Billboard Hot 100.
