The state of Utah is home to controversial sitcom star, Roseanne Barr. Barr was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. Though her family was Jewish, her mother kept their religion a secret in a predominantly Mormon area. In fact, she had her family attend church services. At Just 6 years of age, Barr discovered her first public stage, “lecturing on the faith to Mormon congregations throughout Utah and becoming like a little preaching rock star,” the Jewish Journal reported. She started her rise to fame with stand-up comedy. From here, Barr became an actress, comedian, writer, producer, and politician. Her net worth is estimated at $80 million.
