WD-40’s lubricating properties can act on almost anything, even the stickiest and thickest kind of mud you’ll ever get your shoes covered in. The lubricant’s water-repelling properties create a layer between the mud and the surface of your shoe. The thin film of WD-40 will loosen the mud’s hold on your shoes, making them easier to clean off. 

You can also treat your shoes to make them waterproof. Water-repellant shoes prevent dirt and mud from sticking to them during wet weather.
