These deadly sticks are usually made of bamboo, these are sharpened, heated, and smeared with whatever substance that is designed to cause a horrifying injury and infection, but not exactly fatal. This is because of their philosophy that injured enemies that need help from their comrades will lessen the active combatants on the field as they attempt a rescue, rather than a dead one that can be left unattended at least until the fighting ends.
