Who doesn’t remember bouncing around the back of your family station wagon, with all your siblings under the age of 14? Perhaps lying down along the back windshield of your mom’s car, waiting for her while she popped into the store? Or sitting on your dad’s lap and taking hold of the steering wheel? Car safety, and mom-shaming, wasn’t a thing yet when we were kids. For the most part, we turned out okay.
